Let the Supreme Court, who is currently studying the Ten Commandments
issue,
and will probably issue their ruling in June, 2005, know your
wishes by
signing the American Family Association petition. The Supreme
Court is not immune to the will of the people. While we cannot
directly influence the outcome of
the decision by the Supreme Court, we can express our choices
and beliefs in our
First Amendment Rights.

Today, June 20, in the year 1632, King Charles of England granted a charter
for the Colony of Maryland, named for Queen Henrietta Maria. Lord Baltimore
sent two ships, the Ark and the Dove, to settle the colony. Buying land from
the Indians, they founded the city of St. Mary's, as a refuge for persecuted
Catholics, but soon extended religious toleration to all faiths. The Charter
reads: "Whereas our... right trusty subject... Baron of Baltimore... being
animated with a... pious Zeal for extending the Christian Religion, and also
the Territories of our Empire, hath humbly besought
